Google Wallet
Your loyalty card in the Wallet every Android phone already has. One scan to add, updated after every visit, no app.
A sample card, drawn exactly like the real one. Yours carries your logo and your colour.
Google Wallet is where Android phones keep bank cards, tickets and loyalty cards. A loyalty card there sits next to the card your customer pays with, and Google keeps it up to date in the background.
Issuing one means registering with Google as a pass issuer, describing the card to Google’s API and updating it on every visit. TAPPI does all of that for you. You design the card once, and every Android customer who scans your QR code gets it in Google Wallet.
The customer scans your QR code, types their name on your page and taps “Add to Google Wallet”. Nothing to install.
When your team scans the card, the new stamps, points, balance or visits left show in Google Wallet straight away.
Depending on your plan, your messages arrive as a notification and stay on the card, and the card can come up when the customer is near your shop.
In numbers
Worked out from your answers: about 300 customers a week and an average spend of about £25. Not a promise.
Prices exclude VAT. Every plan also includes your Google review page.
Your logo and colour, the card’s name, the customer’s name and progress, and a QR code your team scans at the till. Links and details sit in the card’s details view.
Google draws loyalty cards in its own layout, so the card looks like a Google Wallet card rather than a copy of the iPhone one. TAPPI’s card studio shows you the Android version as you design.
The same QR code gives an iPhone customer the same card in Apple Wallet. One card, every phone.
