Pre-launch placeholder. This document captures the operational mechanics of Tappi v1 in plain language. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before use in commercial contracts.
Tappi provides a review-management product: NFC-tagged review prompts, redirect logic that routes positive ratings to public review platforms (e.g. Google Business Profile) and intercepts negative ratings into a private inbox, plus reward issuance and redemption tooling. Customer signs up, picks a tier, places a hardware order, and uses the dashboard to manage their loop.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. The subscription clock starts when the first tap occurs on any tag belonging to the customer's account, or 14 days after carrier-confirmed delivery of the hardware, whichever first ("Activation"). Until Activation, no subscription charge is taken.
Hardware is paid separately at order time, except on the Growth tier where hardware is included and the customer pays only shipping.
Each tier carries a money-back guarantee window starting at Activation: 30 days for Starter, 60 days for Pro, 45 days for Growth. During the window, the customer may request a refund of the subscription paid to date and the hardware cost (where applicable). Shipping is non-refundable. Customers retain physical possession of the tags after refund — there is no return obligation.
Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data they enter (locations, contact emails, Google Business Profile URLs), for honoring rewards they configure, and for any tax obligations arising from rewards issued to their end customers.
The service may not be used to gate, manipulate, or otherwise misrepresent reviews in violation of the policies of any third-party platform (Google, Yelp, etc.). The ≤3-star feedback channel is intended for private operational improvement, not for suppressing public reviews. Customers found in violation may have their account terminated.
Customer owns the data they enter and the data their end customers generate via their tags (scan events, ratings, feedback, contact records, reward redemptions). On cancellation, customer data is retained for 90 days as a recovery window, then permanently deleted. Customers may request a full export at any time.
We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee at launch. Service-affecting outages will be communicated via email to the account-owner address.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tappi's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by the customer in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms; substantive changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
