These terms apply when you use thetappi.com and its pages. The website is run by TAPPI Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17478870. Using it means you accept them. If you have a TAPPI account, your use of the service is governed by the terms of service instead — these cover browsing.

1. The website is information, not advice

The content here is general information about what TAPPI does. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your own business. Pricing, features and availability can change.

Where we describe what the product does, we mean what it does today. Nothing on the marketing pages forms part of a contract unless it is repeated in the terms of service.

2. What you may and may not do

You may read the site, print or download extracts for your own business use, and share links to it. You may not:

republish, sell or licence our content commercially;
use our name, logo or brand assets in a way that suggests we endorse you, without written permission;
scrape the site with automated tools, other than search engines behaving normally;
try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or the systems behind it — our security page explains how to do authorised testing;
introduce malicious code, or attempt to overload or disrupt the site.

Misusing the website may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report serious misuse.

3. Intellectual property

We own or are licensed to use everything on this site — text, design, code, images, the TAPPI name and logo. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.

Where we link to another site, we do not control it and are not responsible for what is on it. Following a link is at your own risk.

5. Availability

We do not guarantee the website will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

We exclude liability for loss arising from using, or being unable to use, this website, and from relying on its content, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
